Minecraft Group Session

The Social Unity Minecraft Server is a secure environment where participants can join in on a variety of activities, including minigames like TNTRun, Detective Story, Build Battle, and Bedwars. They can also enjoy survival gameplay, creative building, and parkour!

Building Friendships and Enjoying Activities within Minecraft

Perfect for ages 6 and up, this program aims to boost confidence in various social and communication skills. The participants all come together within our Minecraft server to compete in friendly minigames and collaborate on projects. This allows them to practice essential skills such as sharing, listening, joint attention, and problem-solving.

 

What We Focus On

  • Collaboration: Working together to achieve common goals as a group.

  • Joint Problem-Solving, Sharing, and Turn-Taking: Taking turns in different roles and working collectively on projects.

  • Maintaining Attention: Staying focused to complete tasks and build models.

  • Verbal and Non-Verbal Communication: Using language and text skills to express ideas and emotions.

  • Creativity: Engaging in model building and free playtime.

  • Social Growth: Helping participants make friends, greet others, and develop sharing and turn-taking abilities.

  • Conflict Resolution: Navigating differences to reach shared objectives.

  • Emotional Development: Learning to understand and discuss personal and others' emotions, along with conflict resolution and problem-solving.

  • Communication and Literacy Skills: Expanding vocabulary related to social and emotional development and enhancing literacy and language skills through peer interaction.

Program Details:

Young Children: 6-7 Years Old

Children: 8-12 Years Old

Teenagers: 13-15 Years Old

Young Adults: 16-18 Years Old

Adults: 19+ Years Old

Duration: 4 Weeks

Day/Time: Choose from times available in form below

All Groups have 2 sessions per week that run for 2 hours each

Pricing: The group costs $270.24 per week but this is split between the amount of participants in the group. 

Requirements: A computer/laptop that is capable of running Minecraft and a copy of Minecraft and a good internet connection, if you do not own a copy of Minecraft, let us know and we can help you get a copy.

Minecraft Minimum System Requirements:

CPU: Intel Core i3 3210 | AMD A8 7600 APU or Equivalent

RAM: 4GB RAM

HDD: At least 1GB for game core, maps and other files

GPU: Intel HD Graphics 4000 or AMD Radeon R5 series | NVIDIA GeForce 400 Series or AMD Radeon HD 7000 Series

OS: 64-bit Windows 7 or later | Current MACOS

You can pay for this service privately, or if you are an NDIS Participant you can pay using your allocated funding under Group Activities - Weekday - Daytime.
